“In all my decades of world travel in over 100 nations on six continents, I have always stood by those in distress and donated directly with my own hands—clothes, supplies, medicine, and envelopes of money for the mothers of households who needed it most.
All these years I did this quietly, because the most important thing is the aid reaching the beneficiary directly, not the publicity of goodwill. For many years I lifted local families from Madagascar and Vanuatu to Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Mauritania, and Timor-Leste, navigating red malaria zones and war zones from Mali to Nicaragua and the most impoverished regions in Africa. I have never been part of any organization and will continue helping people privately, from my hands to theirs, ensuring the beneficiaries get support directly from those wishing to lift another human being.

In February 2026, we became the first documented private sailing vessel to arrive in Liberia in recent maritime history. This journey also involved a 1,000+ nautical-mile "against the grain" crossing of the Central Gulf of Guinea—navigating through an active piracy zone and through the heart of Intertropical Convergence Zone.
While this voyage established a significant maritime milestone for female sailors in West Africa, the true heart of the mission was discovered on land. In Edina village, Liberia, I was introduced to a local maternity ward by a civil war survivor, who overcame his lifelong fear of the ocean to assist us. I realized that my "first" should serve a higher purpose: ensuring that every woman, regardless of geography, can give life in safety and dignity.
I visited the local government clinic in Edina, Grand Bassa County, where I had an opportunity to see the maternity facilities and meet members of the local community. Following my visit, I learned about the challenges surrounding maternal healthcare in the area and decided to contribute personally toward supporting women and maternal healthcare in Edina. My initial personal contribution was made in April 2026.
My commitment is to supporting women in Edina, Liberia, and ensuring that any future contribution reaches its intended beneficiaries directly — local women in need.
